Apart from the danger to the historic fabric to the interior, it is also a public health risk if it gets much worse. St Thomas the Martyr remains a living, worshipping Church, not to mention of wide interest to cultural enthusiasts. It never fails to captivate pilgrims, visitors and tourists alike. This is what makes the task of saving the building so vital.
